About the Flimmakers

Second Chances is a collaborative effort from the creative team of artist/writer Mark Greenawalt and filmmaker Webb Pickersgill. They were perfect strangers a year ago, but have a hauntingly similar frame of reference. Both were born in Pennsylvania and played in rock bands as they earned their college degrees, both pursued technical careers while they poured their hearts into creative artistic endeavors, and through it all they have both become family men, married with children, living in Phoenix, Arizona. Greenawalt discovered Pickersgill's website for Bassline Digital while searching for a film production company for a short movie project that would incorporate his bodypainting art form and special effects make-up. The project, The Villikon Chronicles, blossomed into a major undertaking, but more importantly it nurtured a lasting friendship between Mark and Webb. Webb's years of dabbling with small video projects has lead him to establish a Phoenix-based full digital video production company while Mark has risen to international fame in the bodypainting arena. Together they shared a common vision for the Second Chances film and each brought their respective talents to the project to create an impressive film short from a crew of two.
